Tim Atkin:
"Every bit as good as the distinguished 2018, this is a triumphant return to form from Jolandie Fouché. Super stony, fresh and lip-smackingly dry, it's a wonderfully complex, even daring wine, with focused, saline flavours, a hint of oak and layers of citrus peel, green apple and wild herbs."

Tim Atkin:
"A brilliant addition to the Wolf and Woman range, this superb Grenache Blanc comes from a single plot on decomposed granite. Jasmine and wet stone aromas lead into a pithy, chiselled, fennel and beeswax palate framed by older oak."

Tim Atkin:
"Grown on decomposed granite - as Jolandie Fouché's wines all seem to be - this comes from a dryland parcel planted in 1973. Gentle, subtle and nuanced with lots of raspberry and strawberry fruit, fresh acidity, lacy tannins and a stony finish."

Right up there with my favourite South African Pinotages, this is a wine for lovers of red Burgundy on a budget. Fermented with 15% whole bunches, it's overwhelmingly from a 1973 vineyard, but includes 10% younger material. Tangy, spicy and refreshing, with a lovely sense of energy and bramble, baking spice and wild strawberry flavours. 2023-30
